There are currently seven cats under this roof. The ‘baby’ is our most recent addition, an 8-year-old mouser named Stanley.

Stan was employed at a local vineyard as the resident mouser. When the winery closed, Stan became unemployed … and then forgotten.

Thankfully, Stanley has friends in my town, who went to great lengths to rescue him and find him a safe new home. That home is here at Second Guess Farm.

For now, Stanley is inside familiarizing himself with the new roomies. Soon, I’ll be cleaning up some parts of the house that tend to be a little… mousey, so he can go back to work.

He’s a loving addition to the farm family. Keep watching this space to learn more about our strange little family.
